WebI'd rather use Afterburner to record. $10 for movie maker in Win 10 to then actually like edit. It's not a lot, but would have been such a welcome for free. It's pretty shoddy and bare bones, if you want to record a demo for grandma, its ok, but for anything else, spend a few bucks for a real full featured program.
