I have the competition engineering bars #2101 on my 67, snubber hits right on the front spring eye. Not sure if the Lakewood is long enough. Stephen. 67 RS/SS 350 700R4. Webb21 feb. 2016 · Hello, So the traction/slapper bars the previous owner installed are positioned about 2.5" away from the front spring eyelet (center of rubber piece to center of eyelet). I cannot move it forward much more or it will hit the shock mount. I was wondering how this is effecting their ability, or what it might be doing to the ride?

Webb1 juni 2004 · Im trying to install my new lakewood traction bars for my 72 chevelle. Does the rear portion of the bar go on the outside or inside of the rear of the trailing arm. I'm just trying to get the rear holes to line up with the trailing arm holes so I can get the bolt in.
